This was an editorial spread I created in one of my first classes at MIAD in 2020. The challenge was to create a spread with a large word count, a large image, a pull-quote, header and subhead, and a small image. I now look back at this design and cringe at the typeface choices, but overall I feel it is a perfectly acceptable first major design project. I used my own photographs in the design and am still proud of my ability to pull off justified margins.
